The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be trained to manage the full recruitment lifecycle within a specialist sector. You’ll quickly gain exposure to a wide client base and develop a strong understanding of your market.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing high-quality candidates across the Food, Drink, FMCG, and Manufacturing sectors
- Screening CVs and conducting candidate interviews
- Building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
- Writing targeted job adverts and managing responses
- Supporting experienced consultants on retained and contingent assignments
- Keeping CRM systems updated and managing your pipeline effectively
- Learning business development techniques to win new clients
About You
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with a range of people
- Driven, ambitious, and motivated by results
- Resilient with a proactive mindset
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Interested in developing expertise within a specialist recruitment market
- Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or industry-related sectors is beneficial
