I am currently working on a vacancy for the 3rd largest recruitment company in the Country. Due to huge success throughout the last year, I am looking for three self-motivated, charismatic and tenacious Graduates who possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships.

The Company

My client is the 3rd largest recruitment company in the country with over 12,000 employees. Currently, in England, they have four niche brands supplying experienced professionals to a variety of industries including Finance, Governance, Scientific, Engineering and IT to name a few.

Having trained literally thousands of industry-leading recruiters this latest Graduate Recruitment Scheme will focus on the finance side of the business. You will join a Graduate Scheme designed to give you all the skills necessary to become a fantastic Finance Recruitment Consultant.

At the core of their success is the fact that unlike most recruitment companies they have multiple career paths that could you see a focus on Account Management, Sales & Business Development and Delivery Consultant before moving into a senior leadership role. This will allow flexibility in your career but also will allow long-term career progression.

A successful candidate will embark on a rotation to experience all the elements of recruitment. This includes Candidate Sourcing, Interviewing Techniques, Account Management, Sales & Business Development. You will receive a base salary of £25,000 and will earn bonuses and commission based on successful placements. In your first year, you should expect to earn £65,000-£80,000.

Day to day responsibilities

• Job adverts, social media, headhunting
• Qualifying candidates, stripping CVs
• Business generation and managing existing clients
• Preparing candidates for interviews
• Closing deals and receiving commission!

Requirements of succuessful Recruitment Consultant:

Although this Graduate scheme is focused on Finance Recruitment you do not require finance or recruitment experience to be considered for this vacancy. You will require:

• Achieved a degree (2:2 or above)
• Sales experience desireable
• Achieved CCC or above at A-Level
• Excellent Communication skills
• Charisma
• Tenacity
• Be involved in an extra-curricular activity
• Have previous office based work experience
• Be self-motivated
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and target driven working environment
• Enjoy working as part of a team as well as individually
• Be able to build relationships
