Finance Manager

This is a high-impact, hands-on role working directly with the founders, offering real ownership, visibility and the chance to shape the finance function from the ground up.

You’ll play a key role in transitioning finance from an outsourced model to a fully in-house function, while supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

There is clear progression into a Head of Finance role, alongside the opportunity to build out a team as the business grows.

You’ll also work closely with an experienced Fractional CFO, gaining mentorship and exposure to strategic finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day finance function, including systems and reporting
• Manage month-end processes and produce management accounts
• Lead cashflow management, forecasting and budgeting
• Provide commercial insight to support business decision-making
• Oversee invoicing, collections and working capital
• Manage payroll, contractor payments and compliance processes
• Improve financial systems, controls and reporting processes
• Act as the key point of contact for external advisors (accountants, tax, legal, banking)

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a recruitment, search or professional services environment is highly desirable
• Strong cashflow management and forecasting capability
• Commercially minded with the ability to partner senior stakeholders
• Hands-on, organised and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling business
