Graduate / Trainee Recruitment Consultant

London | £29,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission | £45,000+ Year 1 OTE

Our client is a specialist recruitment consultancy working across professional white-collar markets and is looking to add ambitious graduates and entry-level professionals to its London team.

You don't need recruitment experience. If you're competitive, confident and willing to put the work in, you'll be given the training and support to develop into a successful Recruitment Consultant.

What the Job Involves

You'll work across both the client and candidate sides of the recruitment process, including:

• Building relationships with businesses and professionals
• Identifying and approaching candidates through headhunting and networking
• Winning new clients and developing existing relationships
• Taking vacancies from initial brief through to placement
• Interviewing and preparing candidates
• Managing negotiations and closing offers
• Building a network and becoming an expert within your market

It's a role with plenty of responsibility from the outset, and you'll be expected to get comfortable with targets, sales and rejection.

Previous experience in sales, estate agency, hospitality, retail or another target-driven environment is useful, but not essential.
